Hi Everyone, It's a new year ... and I LOVE it!! To be honest, I usually play it down. No hype, no resolutions, business as usual. But this year feels different. Something has shifted. You see, I am starting this year with hope. The storms of the last few years created some disillusionment and fear. Thankfully, this did not immobilise me, but man - it sure took it out of me! Looking ahead though, I am excited. We have spent the last two years sowing, sowing and then some. I am trusting that we will see the results of our hard work this year. I am especially excited about the fabulous talent development initiatives that we are working on within a number of our client. We have also restructured and reprioritised the business and I know we are on a good wicket. I want to start this year with gratitude. I am deeply grateful for my team and their consistency over the last year. We say goodbye to Doug (our sub-editor) and welcome Barbara to this role. Doug, thank you for your commitment over the last 18 months and I wish you all the best in your pursuits. Thank you to all the contributors to Women Inc. The publication would be nothing without you. And mostly, thank you to the readers – I am always amazed at the diverse group of people this publication speaks to and appreciate your thoughts and responses to our work – keep it coming! So with that, I wish you a year of hope and fulfillment. May it be a great one! Warm Regards Rachel
