It is important to understand the GENDER-VALUE PROPOSITION. Italia Boninelli, describes what she sees this being.

Women need to co-create the character of our business. We can only do this if:

a) Women become part of the decision making process.

b) Can do this if they can authentically participate

c) Can do this when we attract and retain women leaders.

Companies need to:

a) Increase the % representation in executive and managerial ranks. Attract women to the organisation. Companies can ask...

What does our brand represent to women?

* Women always ask the question - what matters most?

* The behaviours we display

* Working conditions and environment

* The opportunities offered for women to create value

What messages are we putting out there?

* Internal newsletters, emails, symbols

* Annual report, website, investor relations presentations

* Job advertisements

* Product Advertisements

Two important questions to ask:

Do women want to be part of this business?

Do we need them to be part of this business?
