Watching the recent television and internet reports on the gruesome death of ex-Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, I have been struck by how important it is to be cautious about how you live. While most of our lives will not include the power, money and fame of someone like Gadaffi, his high profile example is a warning to us to be careful how we live.

The Gogo Trust is an exciting new venture that transfers skills and creates work opportunities by training and recruiting previously disadvantaged women to knit woolly garments. The original idea came from a handmade beanie the founder, Mike Walker, was given as a gift by his grandmother.

Flaws In Education Could Be Stifling Your Child’s Ability

I recently came across another video clip which reminded me again about some of the key flaws in our current global education system and approach to teaching our young children. While I don’t want to be the constant preacher of doom and gloom about education – it is important for us as parents to realise that not everything being taught at schools is helping our children prepare for the world outside of school.
